What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal / semi-formal - think suits, tuxedos, gowns, and cocktail dresses. Since the ceremony is a Catholic Mass, we kindly ask that all guests dress modestly out of respect for the sacred space. For women, this means covering your shoulders (a wrap, shawl, or sleeved dress works beautifully). Please avoid anything too short or low-cut for the church - you're welcome to change or layer for the reception afterward!

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please plan to be seated at Saint John the Evangelist by 11:45 AM. The Mass will begin promptly at 12:00 PM. Arriving early gives you time to find a seat and enjoy the music before things get started.

Is there parking at the venues?

Yes - the church is located in downtown Frederick, and street parking is available. Springfield Manor has on-site parking available for all guests. If you're staying nearby, we also recommend carpooling so everyone can enjoy the celebration without worry.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the Mass and ceremony out of respect for the liturgy and our professional photographer. Please enjoy the moment fully - we'll have plenty of photos to share afterward! Feel free to take as many photos as you like at the reception.

Do you have any dietary accommodations?

Yes! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP so we can make sure you're well taken care of at the reception dinner.
